The last day of EBUCC 2025 in Gdańsk is here! It’s the final stage of the games, and the day greeted us with sun shining, a slight breeze, and a calm sea. Perfect weather for an ultimate frisbee match! Today, the games began early with the Mixed division games, followed by Women’s and Open. The morning games resolved the final placements and the winners.

Placement games in Mixed, Women’s, and Open Divisions

Mixed Division

The morning round started with two mixed games for Pool E (17-21) results. The games began at 8 am, where  🇵🇱 M&M lost to 🇨🇭 Wizards Geneva (6-13). In another match, 🇩🇰 DTU won with 🇳🇴 Furuset Brickers (13-8). Pool E games continued at 10 am, where 🇵🇱 M&M took on 🇩🇰 DTU, winning 11-8. In another match, 🇨🇭 Wizards Geneva faced 🇱🇺 Ultimate deLux and won 12-6.

The rest of the games for places 3-15 also started at 10 am. 🇸🇪 Solklar played against  🇦🇹 Styrian Hawks, competing for the 15th place. The game ended in favor of the Swedish team with a score of 13-8.

In the game for the 13th place, 🇳🇱 Remix played against 🇱🇻 Ventspils. The winner of the match was the Dutch team. 🇩🇪  Frubb Frankfurt and 🇵🇱 Grandmaster Flash played against each other for 11th place. The score of the game was 11-10 with a victory for the German team in the universe point. In the game for the 9th place, 🇪🇸 Bravas took on 🇦🇹  Flugsaurier Wels. The game resulted in a universe point (10-9), where Bravas managed to score the last point.

🇬🇧 Deep Dish Discs played against 🇨🇿 Terrible Monkeys for the 7th place. As a result, the British team won with a score of 11-9 after a tough match. In the game for 5th place, we could watch a game between 🇺🇦 Ukraine and  🇫🇮 PuTi. After a close match, Ukraine took 5th place! At the mPower Arena, 🇪🇸  Murciélagos took on 🇸🇰 Outsiterz and built an early advantage in the first half of the game. The game resulted in the Spanish team taking the bronze! Open Division

During the 8 am games, 🇸🇪 Viksjöfors lost to 🇩🇪 Goldfingers Potsdam (9-13). In another game, 🇩🇪 Jogo Bronito won with 🇬🇧 Fatih Ultimate (13-10). 🇵🇱  AKS lost in a close game to 🇱🇹 Vorai (7-10). 🇨🇭 ZU platZHirsch won in a universe point with 🇺🇦 Ukraine 3 (12-11).

At 11 am, the games for places 9-13 and 3-15 began.  🇵🇱  AKS competed with 🇺🇦 Ukraine 3 for the 15th place. With a score of 11-9, Ukraine won the game. In the match for the 13th place 🇱🇹 Vorai played against 🇨🇭 ZU platZHirsch, winning in the universe point (11-10). In the game for the 11th place, 🇸🇪 Viksjöfors played against 🇬🇧 Fatih Ultimate, and won 13-10.

Two German teams, 🇩🇪 Goldfingers Potsdam and  🇩🇪 Jogo Bronito, played against each other in the game for the 9th place. The game ended in favor of Jogo Bronito. 🇳🇱 WAF competed with 🇨🇿  Brblava for the 7th place, and won in the universe point. In the game for 5th place, the match ended in a universe point, which 🇩🇰  KFK lost to  🇬🇧 Bristol.

At the mPower Arena, 🇮🇪 CRISIS CLUB took on 🇩🇪 FT Würzburg in a bronze medal game. The teams went point for point; however, in the middle of the game, Crisis started to gain an advantage. The German team worked hard to catch up, which resulted in a universe point. Ultimately, the bronze went to CRISIS CLUB. You can follow the game at Ulti.tv!

Women’s Division

After 9 am, the Women’s games for places 3 to 7 and 9-13 in Pool D began.

In Pool D games, 🇩🇰 Copenhagen Spinners played against  🇩🇪 Endamazonis Rostock and won with the score of 13-11. The second game of the Pool took place between 🇬🇧 Brighton Women and 🇳🇱 Gronical Dizzines, which ended with a loss for the Brighton Women (5-13).

In the game for the 7th place, 🇸🇪  E6 was victorious against 🇩🇪  Undercover Dresden (13-11). 🇵🇱 Polonki played against  🇱🇻  Salaspils FK in a game for 5th place. In a close game, Salaspils FK won with a score of 11-7.  Finally, at the mPower Arena, 🇩🇪  Seagulls Hamburg and 🇪🇸 Sharks competed for the bronze medal The Sharks won against Seagulls Hamburg. Women’s Division Final

In the women’s final, the wind was a bit stronger, making the game more interesting. The weather changed due to incoming storms later in the day. 🇩🇪  jinX midnight and  🇵🇱  Troubles made it to the final stage of Women’s division games. Both teams made a lot of defenses which resulted in longer points. It was a true test of skills. After the first score from Troubles, JinX took advantage of the tricky wind and some mistakes, and scored 3 points in a row, setting the tone for the game. Troubles didn’t give up and chased the score, quick to defend whenever there was a chance. Layouts, hucks, and lots of D’s. This game had it all! In the end, jinX midnight was victorious with a score of 9-5. Not too spoiler, it’s best if you watch the game.

Mixed Division Final

In the game between 🇵🇹UFA  and 🇨🇿 F.U.J., the Czechs started in offense, but due to a difficult throw, they lost the disc, and the Portuguese took the first point of the game. UFA was quick to take over the disc at every possible chance, while F.U.J. pushed forward with patient offense. The teams went point for point, but in the central part of the game, there were many game stoppages, which affected the game dynamics. In the second half, the Portuguese team scored 4 times in a row, taking the lead in the match. In the end, they took the gold in the Mixed division! You can watch it at Ulti.tv.

Open Division Final

🇵🇱 Solaris started in offence against the  🇪🇸 Sharks. Both teams went point for point, showing great athleticism. The Polish team started to pick up the pace, bringing the game to 6-3! At that point, the rain started in Gdańsk, cooling off the atmosphere just a tiny bit! However, it didn’t stop the teams from giving their best. The Spanish team kept chasing the score, which was maintained for a long time at a safe 3-point difference. With a huck, Solaris brought the game to 12-8. With a quick D on the Sharks’ offensive point, Solaris then took possession of the disc and scored a winning point for the gold! EBUCC 2025 is over. You can see the Final Placements at Live! by BULA. The weather was full of twists and turns, but it didn’t affect the atmosphere in the slightest! It was a great weekend, full of great ultimate, awesome athletes, amazing people, and good memories to look back on. The summer is just getting started, and luckily, there are more ultimate games ahead.
