How exciting! The fifth edition of EBUCC (EBUCC 2026), organized by BULA, the European Flying Disc Federation, and the Portuguese Flying Disc Association (APUDD), will bring together 63 Beach Ultimate club teams from 21 European countries! From 16–18 October in Figueira da Foz, Portugal, an impressive collection of Europe’s top Beach Ultimate club teams will compete in the Mixed, Women and Open divisions, making it the largest EBUCC ever!
The Mixed division is complete with 24 teams from 16 nations spanning the European map from East to West and North to South. It will be exciting to see how the defending champions UFA (CPUP) from Portimão Portugal, will fare against strong competition such as last year´s finalists F.U.J from Czechia, Murciélagos from Spain, and Grut from the Netherlands – who showed their prowess as finalists in the mixed division at WFDF´s WUCC a few months ago.
This division also features strong representation from Germany, Great Britain, and Ukraine, alongside club teams from countries such as Austria, France, Italy, Luxembourg, a second team from Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, and Caddebostan Olympics (CBO) from Türkiye, playing at EBUCC for the first time. With such a diverse field, the Mixed competition promises plenty of unpredictable matchups and high-level Beach Ultimate.
With 15 teams from 11 European countries, the Women’s division is the largest so far at EBUCC, and packed with established European clubs. E6 from Gothenburg, Freespeed from Basel, Hucks from Copenhagen, Troubles from Warsaw, Salaspils from Salaspils, and defending champions jinX midnight from Berlin are among the teams expected to bring considerable experience, while Galas from Kyiv, Gambozinas from Aveiro and Troubles from Warsaw add further international depth.

The division also includes teams from France, Belgium, Germany and Spain, ensuring that the tournament will feature a wide variety of game styles and defensive/offensive approaches on the field. With only one champion able to emerge, this division promises some great matches to follow!
The Open Division is equally international, fully loaded with 24 teams from 16 European countries competing for the title of European club champion. It will be exciting to see EBUCC defending champions Solaris from Warsaw back on Portuguese sands, and last year´s finalists Sharks from Barcelona. Also, Jetset from Leuven is back – as World Beach Ultimate Club champions from WBUCC2024, they will surely put on a Beach Ultimate show!

There is also strong representation from Scandinavia, Southern, Central, and Eastern Europe, with teams such as Lempäälän Kisa, Mölnlycke, Odessa Ultimate, Uppsala, Warsaw Mets and WAF from Wageningen. The field also includes Brblava from Brno, Freezzz Beezzz from Bruges, FT Würzburg, Gambozinos and LUC from Aveiro and Carcavelos in Portugal, Gigolo from Kyiv, Goldfingers Potsdam, KFF Discbolo from Bologna, KFK from Copenhagen, and Mussatti from Padova Italy. The breadth of the Open field promises for a highly competitive division.
All club teams at EBUCC2026 were qualified based on their performance at their National Beach Ultimate Championships in 2025 or 2026, reflecting the amazing development of European Beach Ultimate. From Kyiv to Lisbon, Copenhagen to Barcelona and Stockholm to Istanbul, clubs from more than 20 countries will converge on Figueira da Foz with the same ambition: to become European club champions. Several teams arrive with extensive EBUCC experience, while others will be looking to make their mark on the continental stage for the first time. With 63 teams across three divisions, EBUCC 2026 is set to showcase the depth and growing strength of club beach ultimate across Europe.
