Getting to Figueira da Foz
Figueira da Foz is located in the Beiras region of Portugal, about seventy kilometers away west of Coimbra.
To reach Figueira da Foz, you can choose to fly into Porto or Lisbon: the first is closer (150 km instead of 200) but the second offers more connections and you can therefore find better deals. Both Porto and Lisbon are connected to Figueira da Foz by direct buses. If you choose to travel by train, you will need to change trains in Sintra or Coimbra.
If you choose to rent a car, make sure to take the time to explore the surroundings, central Portugal is beautiful and the food is great!
